Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your data. In short: we only ever track public TikTok profiles, we never ask for your TikTok login, and we never store full card numbers.

1. Who we are
TikTok Analytics (“TikTok Analytics”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the marketing site at postmetrica.com and the dashboard at app.postmetrica.com (together, the “Service”). We provide snapshot-based analytics for public TikTok profiles.
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service.
- Account data. Your name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account. We do not ask for your TikTok login, OAuth, or password — you never connect your TikTok account to use the Service.
- Tracked profile data. The public TikTok profile URLs you choose to track, and the public metrics we collect for them (follower counts, video stats, view snapshots over time). This is information that is already publicly visible on TikTok.
- Payment data. Billing is handled by Stripe. We store only safe card display fields — card brand and the last 4 digits — to show you which card is on file. We never store full card numbers; Stripe processes the payment itself.
- Usage & technical data. IP address, browser and device type, and basic log data generated when you use the Service, used for security, debugging, and reliability.
- Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. See Cookies & tracking below.
3. How we use your information
We use the data above to:
- Provide and operate the Service — run snapshot imports, render analytics, and power the Deep Research Agent.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Process payments, manage your subscription, and send billing receipts (via Stripe).
- Respond to support requests and send essential service notices.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve features and performance.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising profiles.
4. Tracking public TikTok profiles
The Service works only with publicly available TikTok data. You add a profile by pasting its public URL; we then take periodic snapshots of public metrics so you can see how they change over time. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or any data that requires logging in as that creator.
If you are a creator and want a profile that someone else is tracking to be removed from our systems, email us at privacy@postmetrica.com and we will action the request.
6. Service providers
We share data with a small set of trusted providers only as needed to run the Service. They are bound to use it solely on our instructions:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and edge security.
We do not allow these providers to use your data for their own purposes or to share it onward.
7. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Snapshot history is retained so your archive stays intact — that is the core value of the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep records (for example, billing records) to comply with the law.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
9. Your rights (EEA & UK / GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@postmetrica.com.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use them.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your personal information.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
We do not sell your personal information. To make a request, email privacy@postmetrica.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact us
